Message du diocèse de Brisbane
Le diocèse de Brisbane adresse ce message à tous les pèlerins qui ont eu la chance de passer quelques jours avec eux :
"Dear Friends,
It is hard to believe that weeks have passed already since we all had the pleasure of
experiencing Brisbane’s Days in the Diocese!
I trust that you have all returned home safely with what I hope are fond memories in your
hearts and minds of your time spent in Australia.
On behalf of the Archdiocese of Brisbane in Queensland Australia, I would like to take this
opportunity to thank each and every one of you for choosing to spend your Days in the
Diocese with us!
We were truly blessed to have you and your groups spend time in the Brisbane Archdiocese
as your presence here has touched our local church leaving an indelible mark on host families,
parishes, schools and indeed the wider community.
The ten days of celebrations here in Australia were the culmination of months and months
of preparation and hard work, not only by us here in Australia, but the likes of you in places
all around the world.
As we move into this time of recovering from and reflecting on Days in the Diocese and World
Youth Day, I hope and pray that your local church too will be touched by the vitality, passion
and faith of those returning from their pilgrimage ‘down under’.
On a personal note, my sincere thanks to all of you for your support and patience throughout
the preparations. It was such a privilege to work alongside you, and I wish each of you the
best in your future endeavours.
Peace and blessings,"
